Activities Programming Board

APB is responsible for the majority of student programming and entertainment on campus. It is funded by Student Activity Funds that each VCU student pays, so most of its programs are free to students.

You can find APB on the first floor of the University Student Commons in Suite 160, near the conference room hallway and around the corner from The Pod Market.

You can also contact APB in the following places:

How to Get Involved with APB

There are three main ways you can get involved with APB:

  1. Join the Event Squad as a volunteer for APB events. Email apbeventsquad@vcu.edu for more information.
  2. Apply to be on the APB Board in one of the PAID student leader positions. Applications come out in the Spring Semester.
  3. Attend APB events! They are free.

APB Events

APB plans events in the following categories: weekend programming, special events, lectures and live entertainment. Past event examples include: weekend trips to Busch Gardens and Kings Dominion, Valentine’s Day events, lectures with speakers from HBO and Netflix shows, MLK Legacy Night, Karaoke and more! Additionally APB shows movies in the Commons Theater every Friday and Saturday night and hosts a Bingo night once a month.
